Who We Are and Who We Want to Become
Bringing Art to Life in Our Community
Corner Art Collective began as a small group of passionate artists who believe in the power of art to uplift and bring people together through shared space and experiences.
At the heart of Corner Art Collective is the vision of making art accessible and engaging for all. We envision our studio buzzing with energy and creativity, becoming a fun environment for anyone who wants to explore their artistic side. Budding artists can get expert guidance in classes taught by Collective members. Regular exhibits will showcase local talent and give community members the chance to experience art up close.
The Collective’s message is that art has the power to inspire, heal, and connect. Through hands-on workshops, exhibits, and outreach programs, we aim to cultivate creativity and bring more art to the Twin Lakes Area. We lead with a welcoming, collaborative spirit that will nurture artistic growth and build community.
At Corner Art Collective, creativity will always flow as we seek new ways to engage people in the transformative experience of making and appreciating art. We believe art can make lives and communities fuller, richer, and more meaningful.

– Expression – Art gives voice to the human spirit. We encourage artists to explore their unique vision and share it with the world.

Corner Art Collective Purpose, Vision, Mission:
Purpose
Corner Arts Collective exists to nurture artistic expression and enrich lives by providing a welcoming space for artists to create, share, and grow. We are committed to building an inclusive arts community that is accessible to all. We offer studio space, art supplies, equipment, and education to help artists turn inspiration into reality. We deliver on our promise by maintaining an open, creative environment and engaging the public through classes, exhibits and community outreach.
Vision
Corner Arts Collective strives to create a future where art is accessible and engaging for all. We envision communities transformed by the power of creative expression. Our ultimate goal is to nurture artistic talent, foster creative exploration, and bring people together through shared artistic experiences. We are guided by a vision of art as a vital force that inspires connection, promotes understanding, and uplifts the human spirit.
Mission
Corner Arts Collective’s mission is to foster artistic expression and community engagement through accessible studio space, supplies, equipment, and education. We empower both professional and amateur artists to create, experiment, and share their passion for the visual arts.
Corner Art Collective Future Goals
One future pipedream is to start an ArtBus initiative, patterned after The Macs ArtBus Program in Illinois. The CAC ArtBus would be a mobile art studio that allows our organization to bring art to the surrounding communities at no cost. The ArtBus would be stocked with equipment and materials for all types of art exploration and tables and tents to set up. This would enable us to take art experiences to children and adults without opportunities for self-expression through art.
The CAC Art Bus initiative would eliminate the financial and transportation barrier that keeps many in our area from participating in free events. In addition, we would seek to provide art instruction to people who may not be able to leave their homes including those in group and retirement homes. This program would help us toward the goal of helping our community members to create art. Our goal would be to inspire our students to take those skills and continue to sow seeds of creativity into areas of their own lives.
We see our ArtBus offering art instruction to the public of all ages at local parks, schools, and festivals, as well as various community programs and centers.
